Fontana Boathouse, 2007

バッファローに存在するボートハウスは、フランク・ロイド・ライトが ウイスコンシン大学の為に1905年に設計したもので、最も珍しいとされているデザインです。
そのボートハウスがバッファローに建設される事になった謂れは、2000年に長年ボート仲間だった３人が、エリー湖に位置するナイアガラの川岸にライト設計のボートハウスを持ちたいという願いからでした。その後寄付集めや交渉が行われ、2007年に念願のライト設計のボートハウスをオープンしました。
現在ボートハウスはバッファーに存在するライト設計の他の建物と同様に、市民の為だけでなく、観光名所として人々を魅惑しています。

From 190-S exit at Porter Avenue (exit 9)

1. Turn right onto Porter Avenue
2. Make the first right – Rotary Row
   (if you go past the Pumping station on the left side of Porter you have gone too far)
3. Follow Rotary Row as it curves around the military vehicle storage facility and ends at West Side Rowing Club and Frank Lloyd Wright's Fontana Boathouse

From 190-N exit at Peace Bridge/Ft Erie Canada (exit 9)

1. Turn right on Baird Drive
2. Turn right onto Porter Avenue and proceed over the 190 overpass
3. Make the first right after the overpass and southbound exit ramp – Rotary Row (if you go past the Pumping station on the left side of Porter you have gone too far)
4. Follow Rotary Row as it curves around the military vehicle storage facility and ends at West Side Rowing Club and Frank Lloyd Wright's Fontana Boathouse
